The Education Team are here to support Catholic schools and colleges in the Diocese of Leeds in developing the Catholic identity of our schools as part of the mission of the Church. We provide advice and guidance to governors, staff and others and work in partnership with Local Education Authorities.

Our Catholic schools have a significant part to play in the educational mission of the Church.

It seeks to promote the well-being and freedom of every person, which shape the daily life of a Catholic school as a community in which faith is expressed and shared through every aspect of its activity” (Statement from the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, May 2000)
